We won that bid and began our managed services offering known as MAKE Adaptive Solutions (MAS). Since 2008 we have successfully managed and staffed business functions and entire business units. MAKE Corporation MAS Methodology Case StudiesProject 1 (Managed Services Solution):MAKE Corporation was identified as the Corporation to outsource all Service Center and Hardware Lifecycle related functions for no less than three (3) years. Client is a global leader in delivering innovative investment management, asset and fund administration, fiduciary and banking solutions to corporations, institutions and affluent individuals.
MAKE Corporation is responsible for all hiring and management of the following job titles as it relates to the Statement of Work: Project Manager, Service Center Technician, and Lifecycle Technician.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Service Level Agreement compliance
- Management of Service Center and Lifecycle Technicians
- Two separate locations in Chicago that have both technicians
- Reporting; both custom and client specific
- Status Updates
Service Center Technicians Responsibilities:
- Full Time dedicated resources to both Service Centers
- Complete all requested tasks in Remedy prior to request date
- Average of 105 tasks per week per technician
- Image/Reimage desktops/laptops for new or existing employees
- Inventory Control
- Asset Management
Lifecycle Technicians Responsibilities:
- Full time dedicated resources to both Service Center locations.
- Also responsible for 9 affiliate locations around the Chicago land area.
- Replace Desktops and Laptops that are 4 years old
- Image machine, deliver and setup for end user
- 2009 – replaced 980 machines
- Estimated 2010 – 2300 machines will be replaced.
Project 2 (Milestone and Deliverables Solution):MAKE Corporation built an alternative solution to an existing program that would allow data to be entered in manually if automated system runs prior to all customer data being entered. - Milestone based
- Managed with MAKE Corporation’s MAS Methodology
- Incorporated client’s best practices
MAKE Corporation’s Responsibilities: - Create detailed design and code
- Prepare unit test plan and test cases
- Perform unit testing of the application and prepare unit test log
- Provide support for system testing, performance, and UAT testing
Project 3 (Milestone and Deliverables Solution): MAKE Corporation built an application in C# & Oracle - Milestone based
- Managed by MAKE Corporation’s MAS Methodology
- Used Client’s best practices
MAKE Corporation’s responsibilities: - Perform peer review of the detailed design, code, and unit test cases
- Prepare unit test plan and test cases based on the use cases
- Perform unit testing of the application and prepare unit test log
- Provide support for system testing, performance, and UAT testing
Project 4 (Time and Materials Service Solution): MAKE Corporation is providing Project Management to a federally mandated project with MAS Methodology - Time and Material based
- Managed by Client’s PMO office
MAKE Corporation’s responsibilities: - Prepare, maintain, and report progress and status of the overall integrated project plan
- Prepare, maintain and provide Credit Policy and Finance Business Partners comprehensive resource planning estimates for upcoming tasks
- Report monthly the IT project deliverable progress
- Collaboratively work with Business Partners, program/project management resources to develop a detailed effort based on project plan estimates
- Maintain program deliverable documentation and artifact library
