Special Olympics Polar Plunge

Karen & Steve committed to “be bold and get cold” and took the polar plunge for Special Olympics Illinois!

Karen Wilson, President & CEO of MAKE Corporation, joined fellow Special Olympics IL Board of Directors members on team “The Board Backers”. The Board of Directors (which includes some of the athletes!) surpassed their goal of $10,000, raising $12,745 for the 22,000 athletes participating across Illinois. The Polar Plunge events occur annually across the state and the board travels to various locations to plunge with the athletes.
